Love Affair with doTERRA
What is doTERRA and why do I love it?
Smokin' Summer
- Someone at a wedding reception asked him his name, and he goes, "Jesus", and turned and walked away.
- Whenever fun music comes on, he moves his bum all over the place and pumps his fists in the air. It's pretty hilarious to watch.
- He calls popsicles "kuh kick el".
- Getting in to the vaseline and wiping it all over his shirt.
- Eating raw rice and dumping it all over the floor.
- Dumping honey onto the counter and the floor.
Loved the rain.
He calls flipping pancakes "swishing".
Goofy face.

March and April
Here are some recent happenings in our family:
Ryan and I had our 3rd anniversary!
We had a coupon to Outback Steakhouse plus they gave us a free Bloomin' Onion
Ryan's brother Dallin returned honorably from his mission to Slovakia - he gave a great homecoming talk.
At the temple right after family baptisms
Landon has been growing like crazy:
He found diaper cream...
He found my mascara...
Giving his baby a drink
Ready for church!
Daddy teaching Landon how to play baseball
General Conference! We got to have my mom and brother Aaron from AZ as well as my sister Becky and her daughters Kaela and Reganne from Oregon came to listen:
Ryan, me, mom, Becky, Reganne, Kaela, Aaron at the Conference Center in Salt Lake
Music Recitals:
The Sandy students and guests March 30 2012 (they did a GREAT job)
Clarissa, one of my Provo students. My camera died during taking pictures of the other students!
Ryan's artwork at the Provo recital
Ryan's last day of Jiu-jitsu training (next week he graduates from BYU!):
Learning to break someone's arm...ouch.
"Dropping the guy on the ground" move
Sewing and Easter Sunday:
I made Ryan's bow tie and Landon's suspenders and bow tie.

Friends
I love good friends. Those are the friends that you can rely on, that will talk with you and listen to you. They are the friends that care about the things that are small triumphs to you, but triumphs nonetheless. Good friends care for your well-being and don’t judge you. You can be a little crazy around them and good friends join.
We are part of a babysitting group, so each Saturday, one of the couples in the group watches everyone else’s children and then we rotate for the next week. Ryan and I got our turn and ended up with this lovely picture of Landon’s good friends cuddled up on the couch watching a movie:
I hope he will always have good friends.
Thanks for reading!

Birthday Revisited
We celebrated Landon’s 2nd birthday before he had actually turned two, so I am super behind but here goes!
Yummy food: 2 soups, salads, and two lovely cakes (made by aunt Jessica) to celebrate the birthdays of Landon’s aunt Janine and Landon.
Party time with the whole family (minus Dallin, who’s birthday we were also celebrating, on his mission in Slovakia). Bob IS there…see if you can spot him.
Ryan looking excited about the pinata that we made.
Thanks for the great signs, aunt Jessica!
Janine incredibly thrilled to be partying it up.
Landon and daddy working on breaking open the pinata…there was a malfunction and it fell from the tree it was hanging from to the ground.
Determinedly blowing out the candles. Fun party!
Now this is what we did on his ACTUAL birthday:
Candle in the breakfast cereal…just as good as cake, right?
“Now that I’m 2, my eyesight is going…how do these look on me?”
On the way to work for me, we gave Landon his dollar store toy in the car. It shoots little balls and he loved it!
Quick snack right before bed and still having a good time.
Happy birthday Landon!
Emily
