I turned around to see Landon had found my glasses:
Once we got the glasses resituated, we noticed a familiar similarity in the outfit+glasses…
(Sorry so pixilated) Family resemblance, anyone??

I love good friends. Those are the friends that you can rely on, that will talk with you and listen to you. They are the friends that care about the things that are small triumphs to you, but triumphs nonetheless. Good friends care for your well-being and don’t judge you. You can be a little crazy around them and good friends join.
We are part of a babysitting group, so each Saturday, one of the couples in the group watches everyone else’s children and then we rotate for the next week. Ryan and I got our turn and ended up with this lovely picture of Landon’s good friends cuddled up on the couch watching a movie:
I hope he will always have good friends.
Thanks for reading!

We celebrated Landon’s 2nd birthday before he had actually turned two, so I am super behind but here goes!
Yummy food: 2 soups, salads, and two lovely cakes (made by aunt Jessica) to celebrate the birthdays of Landon’s aunt Janine and Landon.
Party time with the whole family (minus Dallin, who’s birthday we were also celebrating, on his mission in Slovakia). Bob IS there…see if you can spot him.
Ryan looking excited about the pinata that we made.
Thanks for the great signs, aunt Jessica!
Janine incredibly thrilled to be partying it up.
Landon and daddy working on breaking open the pinata…there was a malfunction and it fell from the tree it was hanging from to the ground.
Determinedly blowing out the candles. Fun party!
Now this is what we did on his ACTUAL birthday:
Candle in the breakfast cereal…just as good as cake, right?
“Now that I’m 2, my eyesight is going…how do these look on me?”
On the way to work for me, we gave Landon his dollar store toy in the car. It shoots little balls and he loved it!
Quick snack right before bed and still having a good time.
Happy birthday Landon!
